The challenge

Mitrex aimed to achieve a brand identity that resonates with early adopters and scales to a broader audience. The challenge was to create a full rebrand and website design that highlights Mitrex's innovative solutions, demonstrating their exceptional returns for architects, engineers, building owners, developers, and contractors. Our goal was to present their products in action in a simple, visually appealing manner.

Strategy
Our strategy session revealed the need to showcase their products' dual benefits—sustainability and aesthetics. We discovered that potential clients needed a clear understanding of how Mitrex's solutions work and their practical applications in real-world scenarios.
UX design
We crafted an interactive and user-friendly experience with illustrated icons, a sleek layout, and smooth animations. Our UX design aimed to guide users seamlessly while highlighting Mitrex's groundbreaking solar solutions. We ensured that the redesign reflected Mitrex's innovative mission, making the website as dynamic and functional as their solar facades.
UI design
The UI design focused on creating a visually cohesive and engaging experience that mirrors Mitrex’s cutting-edge technology. We selected a modern colour palette, clean typography, and high-quality, immersive imagery to reflect the brand's practical and sustainable ethos. Interactive elements and micro-animations were incorporated to enhance user engagement and showcase product functionality intuitively.
Development
In the development phase, we ensured the website was not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. We implemented responsive design principles to guarantee optimal performance across all devices. Advanced features like the simulator required custom development to provide users with interactive and informative experiences. The website's architecture was designed to support scalability, ensuring that it can grow alongside Mitrex's expanding portfolio.
Inspired by architecture

We conducted comprehensive research to understand Mitrex’s market, competitors, and target audience. Our research highlighted the need to showcase solutions that not only met their environmental goals but also enhanced the visual appeal of their projects. This insight guided our strategy to emphasize both aspects equally.

By gaining a thorough understanding of the technical and practical applications of Mitrex's products, we were able to craft a website and brand identity with clear and compelling examples of their applications in the real world.

Mithra, the god of the sun

Among our rebranding tasks, we created Mitrex’s logo. The new logo concept is rooted in Mitrex's core idea of converting sunlight into electricity. The logo features parallel stripes forming a lightning bolt silhouette, symbolizing a strong foundation and the brand's innovative, confident, and reliable qualities. This design upholds brand equity and effectively communicates Mitrex's vision.

Not just a pretty site

We developed wireframes to structure the website's extensive functionality, providing clarity and direction for the client. These wireframes were essential in transforming Mitrex's vision into a practical and usable digital platform. The site's functionality establishes credibility for Mitrex's products and the company itself.

The spark of the site

The simulator is a standout, customizable feature that lets users plan their energy output and visualize the facades on buildings. This interactive element puts users in control, enabling them to understand the impact, application, and value of Mitrex's products.

Illustration

Illustrations play a massive role in the website's navigation and flow. Icons based on a pixel grid highlight benefits clearly and concisely, while the line work, reminiscent of architectural drawings, aligns with Mitrex's industry focus. These illustrations aid in making the site intuitive and informative.
